This role combines legacy system expertise with modern architecture design, where you'll handle complex measurement data, ensure hardware compatibility, and define integration touchpoints with cloud platforms while preserving offline independence for field operations.

Architect Next-Generation Systems: Design and implement modern architecture for power quality software evolution
Maintain Desktop Applications: Extend and optimize offline Windows-based applications for measurement professionals
Handle Measurement Data: Process, parse, analyze, and visualize complex measurement data from various instruments
Ensure Compatibility: Maintain backward compatibility with existing instrument formats and data structures
Define Integration Strategy: Create controlled integration touchpoints with cloud platforms while preserving offline functionality
Hardware Collaboration: Work with hardware teams to ensure compatibility with new HDPQ devices and instruments
Legacy Modernization: Refactor and modernize legacy codebases for improved performance and maintainability
Technical Roadmap: Contribute to long-term technical strategy and evolution planning for PQ software systems
What we are looking for…
Software Engineering Experience: 4+ years of software engineering with proven track record in desktop applications
Windows Development: Strong experience in Windows desktop application development using C#/.NET framework
Offline-First Architecture: Experience designing and implementing offline-first application architectures
Measurement Data Handling: Experience working with structured measurement data, parsing, and analysis
Performance Optimization: Strong debugging skills and experience with performance optimization techniques
Legacy System Expertise: Comfortable working with legacy codebases and modernizing existing systems
Highly valuable (but not required):
Experience with industrial or measurement devices and hardware integration
Background in signal processing and data analysis techniques
Experience with time-series data visualization and measurement displays
