Our client's AI Team seeks a skilled, innovative, and driven individual to be the go-to person for architecting and implementing scalable, secure, and production-grade AI systems. You'll ensure their LLM-powered solutions deliver real value to the platform while working with a global team of talented individuals spread across 26 countries.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on AI development, where you'll lead the technical direction of AI/ML systems, collaborate with backend and data teams, and drive the evolution of LLM-powered solutions. What you will do as a Tech Lead - ML/AI...

• Architect LLM Systems: Design and evolve LLM-powered RAG pipelines for seamless integration into the platform infrastructure

• Technical Leadership: Lead the technical direction of AI/ML systems while collaborating closely with backend and data teams

• Implement AI Operations: Deploy robust monitoring, evaluation, and security practices for AI workflows in production environments

• Guide AI Strategies: Direct hybrid retrieval, prompt engineering, and embedding strategies for optimal system performance

• Oversee Deployment: Manage model integration, deployment, and scaling using Docker, FastAPI, and CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure Compliance: Maintain GDPR compliance, RBAC implementation, and audit logging across all AI processes

What we are looking for…

• Extensive AI Experience: 5+ years of experience in ML/AI Engineering or MLOps with proven track record

• LLM Expertise: Strong hands-on expertise with LLMs, LangChain, and vector stores (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone)

• Production Experience: Proven experience deploying RAG or chatbot systems in production environments

• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills with FastAPI, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Python packaging

• Leadership Skills: Independent decision-making capabilities and architectural leadership experience

• Communication: Fluency in English for effective collaboration in global remote team

Desirable (but not required):

• Familiarity with LLMOps tools like Langfuse, Weights & Biases, or BentoML

• Experience with streaming inference or token cost control optimization

• Knowledge of fine-tuning or prompt-evaluation pipelines

• Exposure to multi-tenant LLM platforms and enterprise AI solutions
